A new-Chinese display cabinet and bookcase built on a South Sea golden sandalwood frame, finished in North American black walnut veneer with solid copper hardware. Open bays sit above closed storage, and multiple units can be joined end to end to fit a wall in a study, tea room or living room.
Description
The Wujie zx-4 takes its form from the traditional Chinese display shelf but drops the carving and the curves. What's left is a plain rectangular outline and evenly divided bays, finished in a deep brown that sits quietly in a tea room, study or living room.
The frame is solid South Sea golden sandalwood, a dense, steady hardwood. Over it goes North American black walnut veneer, where the grain reads clearly against the dark ground. Solid copper hardware appears only where it does real work — at the doors and the load points — and its warm metal tone is the one cool counterpoint to the wood.
The layout moves from light to heavy: open bays on top for objects, books and display, a closed cabinet below for everything you'd rather not look at. It stands on its own against a wall, no built-in required.
Most useful of all, multiple units can be joined end to end. Two make a book wall; add more as the space allows. Use it as a curio shelf, a bookcase, a tea cabinet or a wardrobe — the same piece can change role when the room does.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
