Description
This is an American-style bookcase and storage cabinet in solid wood with a layered distressed brown finish. It started as the confirmation sample for an export order to North America and was later kept as a showroom piece, so it exists as a single unit — there is no second one.
The form is straightforward: a rectangular, freestanding case with open shelving. No doors, nothing to open — books, magazines, ceramics and baskets sit within reach. The finish isn't uniform; edges and face frames carry the rubbed-through tones and wear marks the style calls for, and the grain reads clearly up close. The frame is substantial, and the shelves feel solid rather than springy when loaded.
Because it stands on its own without wall fixing, it can move with the room: a study wall, a living room corner, an entryway. The top is flat and takes a lamp or a tray in passing.
One note: the cabinet carries large display lettering from its showroom days. It can be wiped off and will be cleaned before dispatch. As a sample piece it bears handling marks, which read as part of the distressed finish.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
