Who we are
Overstock Furniture ("we", "us") is a furniture exporter based in Foshan, Guangdong, China. This policy explains what personal information we collect through foshanfurniture.com and how we use it. If you have questions, write to [email protected].
Information we collect
Account details you give us: your name and email address, a password (stored only as a hash), or your Google account identifier if you choose to sign in with Google.
Order details: the items you buy, the shipping and billing addresses, a phone number and any delivery notes you add.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers. We receive a payment confirmation and the last four digits of the card so we can match the payment to your order.
Cart and browsing data: the contents of your shopping cart and technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages you view, collected through cookies.
How we use it
To create and secure your account, to accept and fulfil orders, to arrange sea freight and customs clearance, to send order updates, to answer your enquiries, to detect fraud and abuse, and to understand which products customers are interested in.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart between visits. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser, but the cart and sign-in will stop working.
Who we share it with
Freight forwarders and customs brokers, so that your order can be shipped and cleared. Stripe, to take payment. Google, if you choose to sign in with Google. Cloudflare, which hosts the site and serves images. Professional advisers where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
We are based in China, and our hosting and payment providers are in the United States. Your information may be processed in those countries. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses for those transfers.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it, unless we have to keep it for a legal reason.
Your rights
Depending on where you live - for example under the GDPR in the EU and the UK, or the CCPA in California - you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This store is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
