The mextra MCIC03-A is a four-door bookcase in an American-inspired style. The cabinet is rectangular and freestanding, with a deep brown lacquered finish and straightforward, even lines. Deep brown is an easy colour to live with — it sits comfortably alongside other wood pieces, leather sofas and soft textiles without dominating a room.
The frame is made of solid wood, finished with a lacquer that keeps the grain and the colour tone consistent and gives the surface a warm feel. Four doors close over the storage area, so books, files, albums and the odds and ends that collect in a living room can all be put away. With the doors shut the piece reads as clean cabinetry, and contents collect less dust.
A study is the most natural home for it, where it can run along a full wall as the main place for books and reference material. The same applies to a long empty wall in a living room, entryway or hallway: it handles the storage and gives the space a piece of furniture with real presence. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
