An imported cabinet from French harmony's Voila Paris collection, built in solid Indonesian mahogany with a distressed gliss finish and hand-rubbed wear. Description
Voila Paris is an imported collection from French harmony, and this cabinet is a discontinued piece within it. The French style reads through a light green distressed gliss finish, with hand-rubbed wear across the surface. The color and wear are intentionally uneven, which is how the distressing is meant to look.
The cabinet, frame, and legs are all solid wood, built from Indonesian mahogany hardwood. The timber is close-grained and suited to hand carving, which appears in the door fronts and visible details. The carving is restrained rather than ornate, and it works with the distressed finish to give the piece its French antique character.
The rectangular freestanding form stands on its own and does not require wall anchoring. Use it as a bookcase for books and display objects, as a sideboard for tableware and glassware, or as a wine cabinet for bottles and stemware. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
