A new Chinese style two-door cabinet from Dihao's Dongfang Guandi collection, built in solid Wujin wood imported from Gabon with an AkzoNobel lacquer finish, brass hardware and saddle leather accents. Use it as a bookcase or as a wine cabinet in a study, living room or dining area.
Description
Dongfang Guandi is Dihao Furniture's new Chinese collection, and the DS96A is one of its more restrained pieces: a tall two-door cabinet in a single deep chestnut brown, drawn with clean lines rather than carving.
The case, frame and legs are all solid Wujin wood imported from Gabon. The surface is finished in AkzoNobel lacquer, which keeps the grain legible under light instead of burying it. Brass hardware and saddle leather details mark the doors — the kind of small appointments that give a new Chinese piece its character without making it ornate. Two doors open onto open storage inside.
Use it as a bookcase in a study, or in a living room or dining area for glassware, tableware, tea pieces and bottles; that dual role is where the bookcase-and-wine-cabinet naming comes from. It is a freestanding cabinet, so it simply stands against a wall on its own.
The deep chestnut brown tone sits comfortably in new Chinese, Japanese and pared-back contemporary interiors.

- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
