A new Chinese–style single-door bookcase from China Concept, built of solid mahogany with mortise-and-tenon joinery. Offered in Honghuali and Suanzhi finishes, it stands as a slim vertical cabinet for a study, tea room or living room corner.
Description
Part of China Concept's new Chinese collection, the 935H5AB is a single-door bookcase that keeps its lines quiet: a slim vertical case, one plain framed door, and no applied ornament. It reads as furniture first and storage second, which is why it sits comfortably beside a desk, against a narrow wall, or at the end of a hallway.
The case is built from solid mahogany, chosen for its dense grain and warm depth. Panels are joined with mortise-and-tenon construction rather than screws and brackets, giving the frame the rigidity a tall, narrow cabinet needs. Two finishes are offered: Honghuali, a lighter red-brown, and Suanzhi, a deeper red-black. Both let the grain show through.
Use it for books, documents, tea ware, or the small number of objects you want kept out of sight. Because it is a single vertical unit, it fits the awkward walls and smaller rooms where a wide shelf run would take over.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
