A French-inspired dining and desk chair built on a solid German beech frame and legs, with a flame-grain burl veneer back, brass hardware and a beige faux leather seat. Dark brown lacquered finish, armless with an open back — at home at a dining table, a writing desk or an entryway.
Description
French-style dining chairs don't have to rely on carved ornament. The YP009 works through proportion instead: an armless silhouette with an open solid wood back, drawn tight in profile so it doesn't crowd a long dining table. Because there are no arms, the chair slides under the tabletop when not in use — useful in smaller dining rooms where walkway space is tight.
The frame, legs and back are solid German beech with a lacquered dark brown finish. The back panel is faced in natural flame-grain burl veneer, a radiating pattern that varies in direction and depth from one chair to the next — that variation is inherent to the material, not a defect. Brass hardware provides the only metal note against the dark wood, and the seat is upholstered in beige faux leather, an easy-care surface that also lifts the overall tone.
It reads as a dining chair but works just as well as a desk chair paired with a writing table, or on its own in an entryway. The dark brown frame and beige seat sit comfortably alongside most existing wood finishes.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
