A new Chinese tea table from Zhonghao's Kaiyuan series, built in solid Jinsitanmu wood with a matched top, frame and legs. Brass accents and brass hardware warm up the dark brown finish, and traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery holds the frame together. A restrained centerpiece for tea rooms and open living spaces.
Description
This tea table comes from Zhonghao's Kaiyuan series, model J02-CT2. The design is new Chinese in the understated sense: a rectangular top carried on four straight legs, with nothing extra added. The dark brown finish does most of the work, and brass appears only at the details, so the table settles into a Chinese, modern or mixed interior without fighting it.
The top, frame and legs are all solid Jinsitanmu wood, cut from the same timber so the color and grain stay consistent across the piece. Brass accents and brass hardware add a warm counterpoint to the deep brown. The frame and legs are joined with traditional mortise-and-tenon construction, and the joinery is where the precision of the build shows.
The long rectangular surface is sized for daily tea service and hosting, and it can equally serve as a dining table in an open living and kitchen plan. It suits tea rooms and living room seating areas, and pairs with other pieces from the same series. Dark brown wood and brass sit comfortably alongside wood, neutral textiles and grey-toned upholstery.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
