The TSB Benhart AF2908 is built entirely in solid mahogany with a heavy, thick-stock construction. Its distressed finish is worked by hand — rasped edges, dents, insect holes, speckling and cow-tail marks. Upper and lower cabinets combine into one piece; equally at home as a bookcase, wine cabinet, sideboard or china cabinet.
Description
The Benhart AF2908 is an American-style cabinet with a squarely cut case and a tall, upright stance. The dark mahogany and the aged surface keep it from reading as new furniture in a room — it sits easily against a wall in a living room, study or dining room.
The distressing is not a printed effect. Edges are hand-rasped into uneven wear, and the surface carries dents, insect holes, speckling and cow-tail marks before a vintage hand-rubbed glaze is worked over the top. The result is a low-sheen, slightly muted finish with the marks of use already in it.
Construction is solid mahogany throughout: case and frame in the same species, cut from heavy stock, so the piece feels substantial in the hand as well as the eye. The natural grain is pronounced, and the glazing pushes it darker.
The cabinet is made in two sections, an upper and a lower, which gives you two levels of storage in one piece. It stands freestanding and only needs a wall behind it. Use it as a bookcase, or as a wine cabinet, sideboard or china cabinet — the form carries any of them. Original maker's labeling is present.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
