Description
An American-style hall cabinet in deep brown, drawn with restraint rather than ornament. Its job is not to fill a wall but to stand between an entry and a living room, or a living room and a dining room, giving an open plan a layer of visual separation while folding storage and display into a single piece.
The body, frame and legs are all solid wood, built around Gabon-sourced wujinmu hardwood. That species is known for its mineral lines — dark and light striations crossing a deep brown ground — and in large cabinet panels the grain reads continuously from edge to edge. A lacquered finish clarifies that grain and keeps the expansive dark surface from going flat. Natural timber varies in figure and tone from piece to piece; that is a property of the material, not a defect.
In use it divides space on one side and holds antiques, objects and everyday items on the other. It stands freestanding, with no need to be fixed to a wall, so it can move when the room does. At home in entries, in the zones between rooms, and in studies — anywhere one solid wood piece should set the tone for everything around it.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
