A new Chinese bookcase from the H砚 Wu Series, built in solid African rosewood with a walnut-tone finish. The upper and lower cabinets combine into one continuous storage wall, with a light strip inside and a freestanding stance that suits studies and offices.
Description
The Wu Series bookcase takes a new Chinese approach: a rectangular body divided by straight horizontal lines, finished in a walnut tone that keeps the wood's calm, grounded color. It holds its own in a study or office without competing with the furniture around it.
The case is built in solid African rosewood. Upper and lower cabinets ship as one set and read as a single storage wall: the lower section closes behind doors for files, archives and books you reach for less often, while the upper section handles display and everyday titles. A light strip inside the cabinet washes the shelves and spines, so you can browse without extra lighting.
The bookcase is freestanding — set it against a wall and it is ready to use, with no anchoring required. It works as a full study wall, a reference cabinet in an office, or a display piece in a reception area or hallway. The walnut tone sits comfortably next to dark wood, leather seating and neutral plaster.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
