The solid mahogany carcass is worked in stacked lacquer relief and hand-painted detail, so the pattern carries real depth up close, and it is finished with solid brass hardware. Description
A tall painted cabinet in the British and European antique tradition, built to stand on the floor at an entryway or in a foyer. The form is taken from period high-leg cabinets, with the raised stance and slender proportions that keep a small hall from feeling closed in.
The carcass is solid imported mahogany. The surface is built up in stacked lacquer relief and then hand-painted, so the pattern sits slightly above the ground rather than flat against it — the texture shows when light rakes across the front, and each piece varies slightly. Solid brass hardware takes the daily wear of opening and closing and holds its own against the warm painted palette.
The interior handles the small things that accumulate by the door; the top gives you a surface for a lamp, a vase or a grouping of objects, and sets the first thing a visitor sees on entering.
It sits comfortably with wood floors, paneling and older upholstery, and can also serve as the single period piece in an otherwise modern room.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
