- New Chinese design from the Wu Series — a traditional silhouette pared back for modern rooms
- Solid Angola rosewood throughout; no veneer and no engineered board
- Deep walnut lacquer finish, with the wood grain still readable beneath
- Frame and legs are the same solid wood, built as one structure
- Tall, narrow footprint that makes use of wall-side and corner space
- Open shelving for books, tea ware and display objects
- Suited to studies, tea rooms and living areas
A slim, new-Chinese display cabinet from H-Yan's Wu Series, built entirely in solid Angola rosewood. Clean framing and a deep walnut finish give it a quiet, grounded presence, while open shelving keeps books, tea ware and collected objects within easy reach in a study, tea room or living space.
Description
Part of H-Yan's Wu Series, this display cabinet takes its cue from the traditional Chinese curio stand and strips it back. The frame stays upright and the shelves stay staggered, but the detailing is held to a minimum, so it reads as a contemporary piece rather than a period reproduction.
The cabinet is made entirely of solid Angola rosewood. Frame, legs and shelves share the same timber; no veneer or engineered board is used. The surface carries a deep walnut lacquer, and the grain remains clearly visible beneath it. The density and warmth under hand are the parts board furniture cannot copy.
Its tall, narrow proportion suits a wall side or a corner that is otherwise hard to fill. In a study it holds books and desk objects; in a tea room it takes tea ware and collected pieces; in a living area it works as a display stand. Because the shelves are open, swapping and reaching for objects stays simple.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.
Can I return an item?
All sales are final for subjective reasons (change of mind, wrong size, colour variance, how it looks in place) — these are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days with photos or video and we refund the damaged portion; we will not ask you to ship furniture back. Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.
