Description

HDX8888 is the study chair of the Giorgioni Wujin Wood series, and it works just as well as a host chair in a reception or meeting area. The silhouette is Chinese in character — high back, arms, clean lines — so it holds its place in a study or tea room without competing with the room.

Frame and legs are solid wood throughout, built from Gabonese Wujin wood (large zebrawood) taken from old-growth trees. The grain is broad and quiet, with a real sense of weight and texture, and the lacquered finish keeps the depth of the brown tone.

Seat and back are upholstered in imported top-grain matte cowhide. The matte surface feels soft and stays understated rather than glossy, and it sits comfortably against the body over long sessions.

It suits a home study, a reading corner, or a host chair in a lounge or meeting area, and pairs most naturally with solid wood and Chinese-style interiors.

Where does your furniture come from?

We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.

What's the quality like?

A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.

Is there anything I should know before ordering?

Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:

  • Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
  • Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
  • Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.

Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?

Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.

What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?

The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.

How does inspection before shipping work?

Can I return an item?
