Description
The Disenborg NDS0671 is a writing desk in the American tradition: warm brown wood, a rounded work surface and legs that were turned on a lathe rather than cut square.
The top is oval, so the corners are radiused instead of pointed. In a room where you are constantly stepping around the desk, that matters — you are less likely to catch a hip or an elbow on the way past. The same solid wood is used for the top, the legs and the frame, which keeps the grain reading continuously across the piece rather than breaking at a veneer seam. A lacquered finish seals the surface and gives it a low, even sheen; a dry cloth is enough to keep it looking right.
The legs are turned in a classic taper, wide at the shoulder and narrowing toward the floor. It is a traditional detail that sits comfortably next to dark wood case goods and upholstered seating without competing with them. At 1.5 m wide, the top has room for a monitor, a task lamp, papers and a notebook in separate zones, so you are not clearing space every time you switch tasks.
The frame is fixed — the desk does not fold and does not extend — which suits anyone who wants one stable surface to work at long term, in a home office, a study or a spare bedroom.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
