A French-style dining chair with a solid mahogany frame and top-grain cowhide leather on the seat and back. The frame is carved on both faces, and the tufted panels are finished with nailhead trim — a deep brown, high-gloss chair built to anchor a wood dining table.
Description
The CY735 takes a classic French approach rather than a modern one. The frame is carved on both faces, so the carving reads as a finished detail from the back of the chair as well as the front, and the silhouette is upright and substantial instead of slim and contemporary.
Both the frame and the legs are solid mahogany, finished in a deep brown gloss that keeps the wood's warm reddish tone. The seat and back are upholstered in top-grain cowhide leather, held in place with tufting that breaks the hide into regular, structured panels, then edged with nailhead trim. Those two details — tufting and nailhead — carry most of the chair's character.
The high back and armless profile let the chair push fully under the table, which keeps the walking line around a dining room clear. It works as part of a set around a solid wood dining table, or as a single accent chair beside a sideboard in an open-plan living and dining space.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
