An American-style rectangular dining table in solid mahogany — top, frame and legs all in the same wood. A carved arc runs the edge, corners are eased round, and a glossy finish brings out the grain. Turned legs, sized for a family dining room.
Description
American dining furniture earns its weight from proportion and moulding rather than ornament. Here a shallow carved arc runs the length of the edge, the field of the top flowing into it without a hard step, and the four corners are eased round — you notice it most when you push a chair in or slide past the end. The dark brown colour sits under a glossy finish, so the grain shifts as the light moves across it instead of reading as one flat coat.
The construction doesn't cut corners: the top, frame and legs are solid mahogany, one species throughout, which keeps colour and figure consistent from the surface down to the floor. The legs are turned in the traditional way — a shaped waist, ring detail above and below — echoing the carving at the edge, with a wide enough foot to keep a long top from rocking.
As a rectangular table it lays out in standard place settings with room left for chairs to pull out and people to pass. It suits a dedicated dining room or the eating end of an open-plan kitchen, and works as a temporary desk or serving surface when you need one. The legs come off, which makes a long table far easier to get through a door and up a stair. Wipe with a soft cloth; don't leave standing water or hot dishes directly on the surface.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
