Description
This bookcase sits within the modern New Chinese style, built in solid Wujin wood with a solid wood frame, legs and case. The brown tone keeps the natural grain visible, and the proportions are tall and restrained rather than decorative. It works in a study, along a living room wall, or at the end of a hallway, holding books, objects and everyday items.
The construction uses mortise-and-tenon joinery, where the timber connects through its own interlocking cuts, paired with pure copper hardware. The wood is steam-treated and scientifically dried, an approach intended to keep the material more stable over time as humidity shifts.
The cabinet is freestanding and rectangular, non-folding, and sits against a wall. Open shelves and closed doors are combined: frequently used books and display pieces stay out in the open, while loose items go behind the doors to keep the overall view tidy. It ships as a knock-down piece, which makes moving and bringing it indoors easier than a fully assembled large cabinet.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
