The Allensite HDX505-5A is a tall plant stand in solid, European-imported red beech, finished in a deep rosewood-toned high-gloss piano lacquer with hand-painted champagne silver lines. Its round top and slim vintage silhouette suit an entryway, a sofa corner, or any spot that needs a single considered object.
Description
Part plant stand, part small sculptural object, the HDX505-5A borrows its proportions from antique flower tables: a round top, a slender stem, a silhouette that reads tall rather than wide. In a room it takes up little floor and gives a fern, a vase or a small sculpture somewhere to sit — an entryway, a corner behind a sofa, the space beside a window. The deep rosewood tone sits easily with walnut, dark leather and aged brass.
Every element — top, frame and legs — is solid red beech imported from Europe. Beech has a fine, even grain, which makes it well suited to a piece finished in a single colour throughout. The surface is a high-gloss piano lacquer, built up in successive coats and polished for depth; the edges and trim are then hand-painted with champagne silver lines, so each piece carries slight differences in brushwork. The lacquer is Qishimei, from Shenzhen.
The stand is made as one piece and does not fold. Its vintage character works best on its own — a point of interest in a corner rather than part of a matching set.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
