A Chinese-style solid wood rocking chair from Zuomufang, model HDXA1620. Built entirely of Gabon-imported Wujin sandalwood with no veneer and no engineered panels, joined by traditional mortise-and-tenon construction. The removable cotton-linen cushion keeps upkeep simple, and the deep brown lacquered finish settles easily into a living room, balcony or study.
Description
The Zuomufang HDXA1620 is a Chinese-style rocking chair built entirely in solid wood. Its deep brown lacquered finish is quiet and grounded, so it reads as furniture rather than a statement — easy to place beside a sofa, in a reading corner or on a balcony.
The chair is made from solid Wujin sandalwood imported from Gabon, with no veneer and no engineered panels. Frame, legs and backrest are all solid wood, and the wood grain is the only decoration it needs. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery holds the parts together for long-term daily use, and the surface is finished with eco-friendly, low-odor lacquer from Tulüshi.
The seat cushion is cotton linen with a soft hand feel and can be removed for cleaning. Integrated armrests give your arms somewhere natural to rest, which makes longer sitting sessions more comfortable.
With its armrests and gentle rocking motion, it fits best as a fixed seat for reading, tea or an afternoon rest in a living room, balcony or study.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
