The ZT136 is built entirely in solid teak — top, body, frame and legs from the same wood. The top and body carry full carved detailing under a glossy dark brown finish that lets the grain read through. Cabriole legs and a clean rectangular top make it a natural anchor for a study.

The ZT136 takes an American approach to the writing desk. It is finished in dark brown, with cabriole legs that taper and flare at the foot, set under a straight rectangular top — one soft line, one hard, which keeps the piece composed rather than ornate.
Material is where this desk earns its weight. The top, body, frame and legs are all solid teak, cut thicker and heavier than a typical desk, and built from the same species throughout rather than solid in parts. The top and body are covered in full carved detailing, layered rather than shallow, and then sealed with a glossy finish that brings out both the dark brown tone and the grain beneath it.
In use it works best as the main desk of a study: the rectangular top gives a complete surface for writing or working on a laptop, and the cabriole leg structure leaves the legroom clear. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
