A low, linear TV console in the new Chinese idiom. The body is built from solid hongtan wood with mortise-and-tenon joinery and wooden drawer runners, finished in a deep brown gloss that lets the grain read through. Sized to anchor a living room TV wall without competing with it.
Description
This console takes the new Chinese approach: one long, level cabinet with straight edges and no applied ornament. The deep brown gloss finish and the low visual weight keep it from competing with whatever is on the wall above it, so it sits comfortably next to Chinese pieces as well as in a pared-back modern room.
Materials and construction are where the piece earns its place. The body is solid hongtan wood rather than veneer, so grain and tone variation show through on the cabinet faces and no two pieces read exactly alike. Panels are joined with traditional mortise-and-tenon work, and the drawers run on wooden runners, which gives them a heavier, quieter pull than the metal slides most consoles use.
In use it is a freestanding floor cabinet: the top holds a set-top box, audio gear, a lamp or a few objects, while the interior and drawers take cables, remotes and discs out of sight so the TV wall stays clear. Beyond the living room, it also works as a low cabinet in a study, tea room or bedroom.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
