A new-Chinese-style tea table in solid Jinsi sandalwood, with brass accents and brass hardware and mortise-and-tenon joinery. The rectangular top sits on a trestle base, so seating on either side stays clear of legs — equally at home as a tea table or a long dining table.
Description
The J02-CT20 from Zhonghao's Kaiyuan series is a tea table built on traditional Chinese proportions, stripped of ornament and reduced to straight lines and clean edges. That restraint is what lets it sit comfortably in a modern Chinese interior or a pared-back contemporary room.
The top and frame are made of solid Jinsi sandalwood, a dense wood with a deep tone and clearly defined grain that takes on a softer sheen with use. Brass accents and brass hardware are set at the edges and structural joints, giving the dark surface a warm counterpoint without tipping into decoration.
Joinery is mortise-and-tenon throughout, with frames and base fitted tightly — the kind of construction you notice when you look closely. The rectangular top rests on a trestle base, leaving the space underneath open so no one is straddling a leg when the table is used from both sides.
Use it as a tea table for brewing and hosting in the living room, or as a long table in the dining room. It suits households that care about solid wood and honest construction but want the room to stay quiet.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.
Can I return an item?
All sales are final for subjective reasons (change of mind, wrong size, colour variance, how it looks in place) — these are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days with photos or video and we refund the damaged portion; we will not ask you to ship furniture back. Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.
