Description

The H8S816 takes its cues from Ming-era furniture — square proportions, straight edges along the back and arms, and no applied ornament. The result is a sofa that reads as new Chinese without feeling heavy in a contemporary living room.

The frame is solid wu-jin wood, chosen for its interlocking light-and-dark grain. Brass fittings sit at the arms and connection points, a small bright counterweight to the dark timber. Upholstery is genuine leather in an ebony finish, kept in the same dark register as the wood so the whole piece holds together visually.

The modular system is the heart of it: four-, three-, two- and one-seat units can be combined to suit different room widths and seating needs. The four- and three-seat units are designed to be used together with a one- or two-seat piece. Set it as the main sofa in a living room and build around it with a coffee table and side tables.

Where does your furniture come from?

We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.

What's the quality like?

A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.

Is there anything I should know before ordering?

Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:

  • Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
  • Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
  • Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.

Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?

Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.

What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?

The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.

How does inspection before shipping work?

Can I return an item?
