A small round side table in the new Chinese idiom: solid wujin wood frame and pedestal in a glossy black-ebony finish, topped with marble. Compact enough for the end of a sofa, a tea corner or a reading chair, and restrained enough to sit beside modern furniture without competing with it.
Description
New Chinese design is not about moving antique furniture into a modern room. The H8G830 takes its cues from Ming proportions — a round top, a compact footprint, an upright pedestal base — then strips the carving away so it can sit quietly beside contemporary pieces.
The frame and pedestal are solid wujin wood; the top is marble. Wood and stone meet at different temperatures and different grains, which is where most of the visual interest comes from. A glossy black-ebony finish keeps the piece dark and grounded, while the sheen stops it from going flat in natural light.
It is sized to play a supporting role: a cup and a book beside the sofa, a secondary surface next to a tea tray, or a corner table in a bedroom or sunroom. The round top has no edges to catch a hip on the way past, and the pedestal keeps the floor footprint tight enough for the gap between a sofa and a wall.
No upholstery, no ornament — the black-ebony tone and the marble veining do the work. It pairs naturally with plain linen, rattan and pale wood floors.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
