Description
The 8R801 belongs to Zhongge Mingyun's new Chinese collection. A deep brown solid wood frame carries a caramel orange seat — the wood stays quiet, the orange lifts the room without competing with your main pieces. It reads well beside a sofa, under a study window or in a bedroom corner.
The frame, legs and open back rail are all solid wood, led by wenge, with clean lines and visible grain. This is the new Chinese approach done plainly: no heavy carving, the proportions and curves do the work. The seat is upholstered in faux leather with a slight surface texture and a firm feel that wipes clean — easier to live with than fabric.
Arms on both sides and an open back let you sit half-reclined and get up without pushing off. A compact round footprint makes it an easy extra seat next to the sofa, or a standalone spot for reading and tea. Pair it with the rest of the series or use it on its own.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
