Description
This ottoman leans vintage without tipping into pastiche. The frame and the legs are both solid wood, assembled as a single fixed piece rather than a folding or stacking design, so the weight settles into the four corners and the seat stays planted when you sit down.
The finish is lacquered in a deep brown that darkens the wood without hiding it — the grain still reads through, and the surface wipes clean with a dry cloth. The seat is jacquard fabric: a gold-toned pattern woven over a brown ground, subdued enough that it warms the dark frame instead of competing with it. Because the seat is upholstered, it gives slightly underfoot and underfoot-and-a-half, so it never feels cold or hard the way a bare wooden stool does.
The rectangular top is wide enough to set both feet on, which makes placement fairly forgiving. Set it by the door and it becomes the spot where you sit to pull shoes on or tie laces on the way out. Move it in front of the sofa and it's a footrest — legs up, book open. The brown-and-gold combination gets along with wood flooring, off-white walls, and darker rugs, so it rarely asks you to redecorate around it.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
