Description
The XXY1043 takes its outline from the traditional French lounge chair: the arms flare outward and close in a carved scroll, and the legs are shaped from the same solid mahogany rather than assembled from separate parts. The result is a continuous line you read from the front and from the side.
Frame and legs are solid mahogany, finished in a glossy deep brown that shifts in tone as light moves across it. The color sits easily next to darker wood pieces and warm-toned upholstery without competing. Seat and back are wrapped in top-grain leather, and the outer edge of the solid wood back carries individual nailhead trim — the detail most visible when the chair is seen from behind or at an angle.
As a single-seat chair it takes up little floor space, which makes it an easy addition beside a main sofa, under a study window or in a bedroom corner. The arms and solid back mean your forearms and shoulders are supported, so it stays comfortable through a long read or a slow conversation. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
A shipping minimum applies per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
