An American classic club chair, fully upholstered in 100% full top-grain imported oiled leather. High back, rolled arms, a single tufted cushion, and nailhead trim. Description
The Whittemore Sherrill club chair follows the original American classic: a high back, rolled arms, and a single tufted cushion framed by nailhead trim. Deep brown leather keeps the silhouette traditional without making it heavy, so it holds its own next to wood case goods and warm textiles.
The entire chair is upholstered in 100% full top-grain imported oiled leather, not a split-leather match. The hide is thick and lightly oiled, with a sheen that softens and deepens into a natural patina over years of use. Seat, back, and arms are all leather, and the tufting gives the back real dimension.
A matching ottoman comes with the chair. Sit upright to read, or push back and rest your legs on the ottoman for a reclined position. It works as a reading chair by a study window, a corner seat in the living room, or a quiet spot in the bedroom.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
