A vintage cigar chair in Italian top-grain oil-waxed leather with a hand-painted finish and a solid wood frame. It rolls on solid brass casters, and a solid ebony wood tray keeps a cup or a book within reach. Down-filled cushions give it a soft, generous sit.
Description
This is a chair built to stay in the living room, not to be rotated in and out. The rolled arms and wing back follow a classic club silhouette; dark brown leather over a solid wood frame lets it sit beside a sofa, in a study corner or by a window as a seat that belongs to one person at a time.
The cover is Italian top-grain oil-waxed leather, hand-painted in layers so the color shifts from panel to panel. Oil-waxed hides keep visible pores and grain variation, and no two chairs match exactly — the clearest difference between this and a coated imitation leather. Inside, down fill makes the seat and back cushions soft and full, with a little sink when you sit down.
The frame is solid wood throughout, with arms, legs and seat frame in the same material. Solid brass casters at the base mean you can roll the chair to a new spot rather than drag it, which makes cleaning and rearranging easier. A solid ebony wood tray on the side holds a cup, a book or whatever you set down, so a separate side table isn't required.
It suits reading, conversation, a cigar, or doing nothing at all, and sits comfortably alongside leather sofas, wood bookcases and darker walls.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
