A French-style high-back lounge chair built on a solid mahogany frame, upholstered in thick Italian oil-wax leather with an imported velvet back, finished with hand-painted gold detailing and solid brass hardware.
Description
This lounge chair takes a French vintage direction: high back, shaped arms, and a silhouette that stays upright rather than slouchy. It works well in a reading corner or beside a bedroom window without taking over the room.
The frame, legs and arms are solid mahogany with a painted finish. Seat and arms are upholstered in thick Italian oil-wax leather — a heavier hide with natural color variation that reads differently from standard domestic leather. The back is intentionally not leather: it uses imported velvet, which feels softer against the body and sets up a material contrast between front and back.
Detailing centers on the vintage grille motif, hand-painted gold accents and solid brass hardware, which sits comfortably against the red leather. The chair does not fold or stack, and the cushion is fixed, so it is meant to stay in place as a dedicated seat.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
