Description
This accent chair takes a vintage stance: a solid mahogany frame and legs shaped with a waisted profile and a tall back, arms flaring slightly outward so the shoulders and upper back have somewhere to rest. The wood is painted rather than left raw, in a deep tone that sits comfortably against the wine-red leather.
The seat is the centre of the piece — 100% Italian thick waxed leather, substantial in the hand, with the soft sheen waxed hides are known for. The back panel switches to imported red velvet, which means the chair still looks considered when viewed from behind. Over the solid wood frame sits vintage Gless work, with hand-painted gold accents and solid copper hardware and nailhead trim tracing the edges.
One note: the top of the back is plain, with no carved finial.
As a high-back armchair, it works as a fixed seat for reading, conversation or quiet time — set beside a sofa, under a study window, or in a bedroom corner.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
