Description
STDOME's wujinmu accent chair takes a familiar high-back club silhouette — rolled arms, deep tufting, a firm upright back — and dresses it in wine red semi-matte leather over solid hardwood.
The frame, legs and arms are all solid wujinmu hardwood from Gabon, a species valued for the sharp contrast between its light and dark grain. Carving is cut into the solid wood along the frame, and a water-based finish is used so the grain and the carved detail stay readable rather than sitting under a thick coat.
Seat, back and arms are upholstered in Italian full top-grain semi-matte leather. The matte surface reads quiet in a room and doesn't throw light the way a gloss leather does, which makes it easier to pair with fabric, rugs and other wood pieces. Tufting is hand-set with nailhead trim, forming a regular grid of shallow pulls, and the cushion is filled with high-resilience foam that recovers after you stand.
It is a fixed chair: no recline, no swivel, no fold. That suits the things you sit down for and stay a while — reading, a drink, television — anywhere you want the back to hold you. Wine red sits comfortably against walnut, charcoal or oatmeal.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
