Description
This is an American lounge chair in the traditional sense: a high back, rolled arms, tufted upholstery across the seat and back, and a nailhead trim line running along the edges. The red-brown leather and the darker wood frame sit in the same warm range, so the chair settles into a room rather than announcing itself.
The frame, arms and legs are solid wenge wood from Gabon, with a visible grain and crisply cut edges. The seat and back are covered in Italian top-grain semi-aniline leather, which keeps the natural markings of the hide, and the interior is padded with high-resilience foam for support that recovers after use. A water-based finish is applied over the wood, thin enough to leave the original colour and grain showing.
The set includes the leather rocking chair and a matching leather ottoman, which works as a footrest, an extra seat, or a spare perch beside a side table. Put the chair by a living room window, in a study corner or in a bedroom, and it earns its place for reading, long phone calls and slow afternoons. The chair is a fixed frame — it does not fold and does not stack.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
