Description
This set pairs a long tea table (715-2A) with a stone-top side table (715-2C), both drawn from the Song-dynasty aesthetic and a modern Eastern design vocabulary: straight lines, restrained edges, and proportion doing the work instead of carving. It sits quietly at the centre of a living room while steadying everything around it.
Frame and legs are ebony solid wood with a lacquered finish in a deep brown-red tone — a warm, grounded wood colour that reads well against pale tile, beige upholstery, rattan or linen. The tops are natural stone, veined by the material itself, so each one differs. Warm wood against cool stone is the familiar material pairing in this style of Eastern furniture.
The long table's rectangular top sits on a plinth base, which keeps the weight low and the footprint stable — easier to reach for a teapot or a book from the sofa. The side table works alongside an arm or sofa, holding a lamp, a cup or whatever you are reading. Both pieces are fixed: they do not fold and do not extend, which suits a living room with a settled layout.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
