Description
Part of the Song Aesthetic / Modern Eastern collection, model 705-2A/705-2C. The silhouette borrows the plain proportions of Song dynasty furniture: a clean rectangular top, straight edges, no applied ornament. What carries the piece is the material itself — dark wood against pale stone — which is why it settles into a modern Eastern or new Chinese living room without competing for attention.
The frame is solid ebony wood, close-grained and dark, with a warm hand. The top is natural stone, set so that its veining runs against the tighter lines of the wood. A matte finish softens how light lands on both surfaces and keeps the texture visible rather than polished away. As with any solid wood and natural stone piece, grain, tone and veining vary from one slab and one board to the next.
The set includes the long coffee table and a smaller nesting table. Their heights differ, so placing them together stretches the room horizontally; separated, they work as a main coffee table and a side table beside a sofa corner or a lounge chair. The plinth base keeps the weight low and the footprint visually calm.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
