A quiet, squared-off table in solid white ash, built to serve as both a tea table and a writing desk. Top and frame are the same species and the same finish, so the color reads as one piece. Ships with a free side chair that carries a minor cosmetic flaw.
Description
There is very little happening in this table, and that is the point. The profile is straight and squared off, the edges are handled quietly, and the wood is left to do the talking. Under the black finish, the grain of the white ash is still readable — a deep, even tone from across the room, distinct grain up close.
The top and the frame are both solid white ash, matched in species and tone rather than mixed with a secondary material. Solid wood gives the table real mass, so it stays put when you push back from it or slide a chair in. The construction is fixed: it does not fold and does not extend. You trade some flexibility in storage for a surface that feels settled in use.
It works as a tea table for slow afternoons and as a writing desk when you need to sit down and get through something. For smaller homes where two separate tables are not realistic, that dual role is more useful than an extra feature.
The set includes one side chair at no extra cost. Please note the chair has a minor flaw that does not affect its use or its appearance.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
