An Italian-made American-style chair from SCHIRRULIVING, built entirely in solid wood with a hand-carved frame and a velvet seat, finished with an original brass badge. The armless, open-back profile lets it serve as a desk chair, lounge chair, or dining chair.
Description
This chair follows an American classic brief: no arms, an open back, and restraint in the detailing. Rather than layered ornament, the carving is concentrated at the back and frame, which gives the piece a tall, quiet presence in a room. Made in Italy and imported, with the original brass badge attached.
The chair is built entirely in solid wood — frame, legs, and back alike — with a glossy finish that leaves the grain clearly readable. The carving is done by hand, so the cuts vary slightly in depth in a way molded work cannot reproduce. Seat and back are wrapped in velvet with a short, dense pile that feels soft without clinging, a deliberate contrast to the firmness of the wood.
With no arms and an open back, the chair is easy to get in and out of and easy to tuck under a desk or table. Use it at a writing desk, as a lounge chair in a living room corner or beside a bedroom window, or as a pair at the dining table.

- If something arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video, and we will refund the damaged portion.
- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.
- Flaws already shown in the pre-shipment video and approved by you are not covered.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
