Made in Italy and imported by SCHI-RRU, the Pegasus console is a vintage-style entryway table built entirely from solid East African blackwood. The Pegasus motif is hand-carved, and the surface carries a distressed deep reddish brown finish. A rectangular top on a trestle base keeps the footprint open against a wall.
Description
The SCHI-RRU Pegasus console is a vintage-style entryway table, made in Italy and imported as a solid wood furnishing. Its defining feature is the hand-carved Pegasus motif, which reads as much like sculpture as furniture and sets the tone for a hall, entry or the space behind a sofa.
Every component — top, legs and frame — is solid East African blackwood, a dense hardwood chosen for its tight grain and deep tone. The surface carries a hand-applied distressed finish in a deep reddish brown, so the wood reads aged rather than new, and each piece is marked with an etched product number on the back.
The rectangular top sits on a trestle base, leaving the space underneath relatively open so the table does not crowd a wall. It works as an entryway landing surface for a tray, a lamp or a small framed print.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
