Description
The SAMUEL LAURENCE 8854-142 is an American-style sideboard that also works well as an entryway cabinet. The rectangular case carries a warm brown antiqued finish, with the proportions and moldings handled the traditional American way rather than through heavy ornament.
The top is inset with imported marble, setting a cool, hard surface against the warmth of the walnut. The case is built from North American walnut with plywood panels and solid wood edge banding, and both the frame and the legs are solid wood. An Aksu paint finish, combined with a genuine antiqued treatment, gives the grain and color a natural depth.
Inside, the cabinet holds dinnerware, glassware, linens and everyday clutter; the top is a natural place for a tray, a vase, or entryway objects. Placed along a dining room wall or in the front hall, it handles both storage and display, and sits comfortably with American, vintage and mixed interiors.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
