A contemporary rectangular dining table from Ruimeng. A marble top sits over a wood-veneer frame and pedestal base, with the beige palette tying stone and wood together. The centered base keeps legroom open along both long sides, so the table works well as the anchor of a dining room.
Description
The SL1607 takes a contemporary approach: a long rectangular top with the support gathered at the center rather than pushed to the corners. That pedestal footprint lowers the visual weight of the base and leaves the seating sides clear, so chairs tuck in easily and there are no legs to work around when people get up and sit down.
The materials are deliberately contrasted. The top is marble, and its veining and surface character set the tone for the whole piece. The frame and base are wood veneer, finished in a tone that reads continuous with the beige family of the top, softening what a large stone surface would otherwise do to a room. The result is a table with the presence of stone and the warmth of wood furniture.
It is built to sit at the center of a dining room. The long rectangular top allows seating along both sides and at the ends, which covers everyday family meals as well as hosted dinners. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
