Made of Gabon-imported African zebrawood from trees several hundred years old, with a reddish-brown lacquer finish, arms and a low back. Pair it with a desk or use it on its own.

Description

The HDX8888 is a Chinese-style solid wood chair from the Qiaoerqiaoni zebrawood series. It has a reddish-brown lacquer finish, arms and a low back, with no upholstery — a clean, compact silhouette that sits comfortably beside a wooden tea table or a desk.

The wood is solid African zebrawood (big zebra) imported from Gabon, selected from trees several hundred years old. The frame and legs are the same species, and the grain and tone are left to read naturally, so no two pieces look quite alike.

Its role is deliberately open. Set it by a tea table and it is a tea chair; place it in a corner of the living room or bedroom and it becomes a lounge chair; put it at a desk and it is a desk chair. It can be ordered alongside a desk as a set, or on its own.

Frequently asked questions

Where does your furniture come from?

We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.

What's the quality like?

A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.

Is there anything I should know before ordering?

Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:

  • Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
  • Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
  • Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.

Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?

Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.

What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?

The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.

How does inspection before shipping work?

Every piece is inspected on video before it leaves the warehouse, and we send you the footage to approve — only after you confirm do we load the container. We check appearance, structure, hardware and that all parts are present.

Can I return an item?

All sales are final for subjective reasons (change of mind, wrong size, colour variance, how it looks in place) — these are direct-showroom goods priced accordingly.
