An American-style square dining chair built entirely from solid mahogany. The ladder back uses gently waved rungs, the seat is a one-piece solid wood panel with no upholstery, and the stained finish brings out a warm, vintage tone that suits an American dining table or a home office.
Description
The Oumuxuan J688-42 is an American-style dining chair with a square profile, no arms and no upholstery. The lines are kept clean, so it pairs naturally with solid wood or darker-toned dining tables.
The chair is made entirely of solid mahogany: legs, frame, back and seat. A stained finish warms the surface into a vintage wood tone, with the grain reading clearly rather than being covered up. There is no carving or ornament — the character comes from the wood itself.
The back is a ladder-back design with waved horizontal rungs that follow the curve of the spine and let you lean back comfortably. The seat is a single solid wood panel, flat and firm, with no cushioning layer between you and the frame.
Because there are no arms and the footprint is square, the chair slides neatly under the table edge, which helps in smaller dining areas. It also works well as a desk chair, a tea-room seat, or an extra chair near an entryway. The overall look stays consistent alongside a substantial wooden table.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
