The Hepburn accent chair from Oujijia brings a French-style oval silhouette to the living room or bedroom. Its frame and legs are solid mahogany, while the seat and back are wrapped in fabric with a cushion-style backrest. The armless profile keeps sightlines open and makes the chair easy to pull up to a table or pair with a second seat.
Description
The Hepburn is a French-inspired lounge chair from Oujijia, built around an oval silhouette. With the arms removed, only the seat and back remain as distinct volumes, which keeps the side profile clean and lets the chair sit quietly in a room rather than crowd it. Both the frame and the legs are solid mahogany, finished with a stain that keeps the grain and tone consistent across the piece. The seat and back are upholstered in fabric, and the back takes a cushion-style construction so there is give behind the shoulders when you lean back. The seat cushion is fixed; the chair does not fold or stack, which gives it a steadier, more integrated feel. Going armless is also the most practical part of the design — you can sit down without lifting an arm, settle it close to a table edge or reading nook, and place two side by side to form a small conversation area. The yellow upholstery is warm rather than loud, so it pairs well with wood tones, off-whites and greys whether you use it as a living room accent chair, a bedroom corner chair or a study reading chair. Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
