The Oak Cloister solid wood coat rack comes from the Simple American British Cottage series. American in style and brown in tone, it stands freestanding in a free-form silhouette, so it needs no wall anchoring and can settle into a corner of the entryway, bedroom, or dressing area.
It is built entirely from solid wood: North American FAS golden sandalwood as the primary material, imported oak as the secondary. The frame is put together with mortise-and-tenon joinery, where wooden members interlock and share the load rather than relying on hardware alone. The surface is finished with natural plant wax oil, leaving the wood open to the touch, with grain and texture plainly visible.
In an entryway it takes coats, scarves, and bags as you come in; in a bedroom it holds the clothes you plan to wear tomorrow. Because it is freestanding, its position can shift with the seasons and the flow of the room, and its knock-down construction makes moving and carrying it indoors easier.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
