Description
This desk follows a mid-century modern line: a clean rectangular top in a warm brown wood tone, set over a storage base with drawers. Restrained in profile and substantial in presence, it works in a home study, a private office, or as a tea table in a tea room.
The main body is imported North American walnut solid wood, built in an all-walnut construction except for the drawer box, which is made of North American poplar. There is no veneer and no engineered board; the surface is finished with a water-based coating so the grain, colour and texture of the timber read as wood rather than as a covering.
The top gives you room to write, work on a laptop or lay out a tea setting, while the drawers in the base keep stationery, documents and tea ware close at hand. The desk ships in a knock-down construction, which makes moving it and carrying it indoors easier.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
How does inspection before shipping work?
