Description
The Muzhen M801 is a bed-end bench in the new Chinese idiom. The proportions are deliberately restrained: ornament is stripped away and what remains is one clean, elongated line. Because it is armless, it sits at the foot of a bed without blocking sightlines and without making the room feel crowded.
The frame and legs are red oak solid wood in a dark finish, and the character of the timber reads at close range. The seat is a single upholstered cushion, edged with nailhead trim — the one decorative detail the piece keeps. The metal points stay quiet against the dark wood rather than calling attention to themselves.
It is made for the bedroom first: at the foot of the bed it gives you somewhere to sit while pulling on shoes, to set a bag down, or to leave a folded throw. It also works pushed under a window or in a dressing room as a standalone perch. The frame is fixed — it does not fold and does not stack — so it stays put where you place it.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
