A modern oval dining table with an ash burl veneer top over a birch frame. The mirrored champagne stainless steel pedestal base keeps the footprint compact, and faux leather detailing softens the metal. Rounded edges and a restrained palette make it an easy fit for open-plan dining rooms.
Description
The MC507-601 is a modern oval dining table from Morgan Shijia. The oval top does away with sharp corners, which reads softer in the room and makes it easier to move around the table before and after sitting down.
The top is finished in ash burl wood veneer. Burl figure is natural, so grain direction and depth differ from one table to the next. Beneath it, a birch frame supports the top.
The base is mirrored champagne stainless steel in a pedestal form, concentrating the footprint and leaving the floor around it easy to clean. Frame, legs and base share the same metal, with faux leather wrapping the detailing to take the chill off the steel.
The palette stays restrained: champagne metal against warm wood grain. It sits comfortably in open-plan dining rooms and combined living-dining layouts, and pairs well with leather or metal dining chairs.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
