A transitional desk chair for the study or home office. Imported top-grain grain-textured leather wraps the seat and back over Dongya foam, with a solid beech frame, legs and back. Track arms, a tufted back panel and nailhead trim keep the light beige palette quiet and tailored.
Description
The Morgan Shijia desk chair is built for the study and the home office, drawn in a transitional line: the generous proportions of a traditional upholstered chair, tightened with straight track arms and a cleanly squared back so it sits comfortably beside a modern desk.
The seat and back are wrapped in imported top-grain leather that keeps its natural grain and a low, matte finish. Dongya foam fills a single seat cushion, so weight settles and returns evenly rather than pooling in one spot. Frame, legs and back are solid beech — a pale, close-grained wood that sets off the light beige leather without competing with it.
Detail is deliberate but restrained: a tufted back panel in vertical sections, a run of nailhead trim along the edge, and flat track arms. The solid back gives clear support through the upper back, and the chair is a fixed piece — it does not fold or stack — which suits it to a permanent spot at the desk or in a reading corner.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
